Onewayshopping is looking for a top-notch Staff Software Engineer/Technical Lead to head our Lead - Gen engineering team. We are looking for a creative and inquisitive person who is passionate about solving challenging problems and building technologies to scale a rapidly growing business line. This person will be able to both roll up the sleeves to as a senior individual contributor, and have the ability to motivate and manage a small team of engineers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (Ph.D. a plus).
At least 5 years of software development experience (in Java/C++), and understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns.
Excellent Database development and maintenance skills (preferably MySQL)
Strong Expertise in algorithms, networking/distributed technologies and WebServices
Experience debugging complex applications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Effective written and communication skills
Experience managing high-traffic websites that require 24x7 uptime
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities
Experience in the areas of SEM and SEO
PLUS:
Experience in the Lead Generation field within multiple verticals
Prior experience in managing engineers
RESPONSIBILITES:
Provide technical leadership to the team
Manage engineering project schedules and priorities with the Director of Lead - Gen, engineering management and company executives.
Architect and design the product for performance and scalability
Work on continual development of the project, along with code refactoring
Provide recommendations for Website improvements, form optimizations, etc., for increasing revenue and gross margin
Being on-call for production related issues

The engineer will be working on our core back-end systems, responsible for developing new innovative functionality, and optimizing and maintaining existing algorithms and technologies.
Requirements:
BSc or MSc in computer science, PhD is a plus.
At least 4 years of software development experience in C++ and Java, understanding of object oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience of working in a Linux/Unix environment, including shell scripting skills or skills in any other scripting language.
Experience with databases (SQL)
Experience in any of the following will be greatly valued: search engine technology, web applications, network programming, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, or natural language processing.
Experience with version control systems (CVS, SVN).

Junior IT Engineer
Responsibilities:
Computer/telephone/network setup and maintenance, including preparing cables.
Troubleshoot for issue of users/systems/devices in office, failure recovery
Basic Active Directory and Exchange server management
Periodically system backup
Telephone system management

We are currently looking for an energetic and talented individual to serve as a Sales Associate to expand our network of online merchants. The ideal candidate is a sales superstar, has a passion about the Internet marketing industry and work in a fast paced start-up environment. The person will be responsible for prospecting, out bounding, negotiating and closing numerous large and medium accounts and must have good prioritization skills, detailed-oriented nature, and "fire in the belly". The position reports to the VP.
Responsibilities:
Prospect online merchant or other lead buyers in new verticals
Effectively and enthusiastically communicate the benefits of partnering with Onewayshopping.com
Make daily outbound calls
Negotiate and close deals
Work with engineering to integrate and launch new clients
Optimize and up-sell to current partners
Solve issues as they arise that is good for the client and for Onewayshopping.com
Any other task as needed for the group
Qualifications/Experience:
BA/BS degree
1-5 years of proven outbound sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Good customer service and problem-solving skills
Thrives in a goal driven, and rapidly changing environment
Teamwork oriented
Knowledgeable of the internet industry and Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point)
Combination of having been classically trained at a large company, along with start-up experience would be a plus.
